Changing the username format

Your forum users can choose a username that can contain any characters and be in any format by default. If you'd like usernames on your forum to be in a different format or contain only certain characters, please contact us to change it.

When a user provides their name in their profile, that will be shown throughout the forum next to their username. Learn more.

In certain cases, an email address can be used as the username.
