Configuring your PayPal account for Paid Access

Once you have created a Verified PayPal Business Account, please ensure that your account is properly configured to work with your forum's Paid Access feature by following the instructions below.

1. Log in to your PayPal Business Account.
2. Hover the mouse on your name in the right top corner and then click Account Settings
3. Click Account Settings.
4. Click Website payments in the left menu.
5. Click Update next to Website preferences.
6. Ensure that the Encrypted website payments option is Off.
7. Click Back to Profile at the top of the page.
8. Click Update next to Instant payment notifications.
9. Ensure that this option is Enabled. If it's not, enable it and set the Notification URL to https://USERNAME.websitetoolbox.com/paid_access_paypal (Replace USERNAME with your Website Toolbox username.)

   If the option is already enabled but the URL is different, you don't have to change it. Our code will automatically override it.

10. Save your changes.
