Skipping email verification for a user

An administrator can manually verify the email address for the user by clicking the Skip verification link in the user's profile. That will mark the email address as verified in the user's profile even though they may not have received the verification email or they didn't click the verification link in the email they received. This should be used with caution because it may mean that the user would not properly receive other important email from the forum. Instead, you should try to resend the verification email first. Users should check their spam email folder to ensure that the email is not accidentally being marked as spam. The verification email should be sent to the user within a few seconds of signing up.
