Leaving a conversation

Messages work a little like email but are limited only to people who have signed up for the forum. Sometimes you may want to leave a conversation so that you stop receiving messages from it.

When a user leaves a conversation, they can no longer reply to the same conversation. However, they can still start a new conversation if they want.

A user can leave a conversation by following the instructions below:

1. Log in to your forum account.
2. Click the messages (chat bubble) icon located toward the top-right of the page.
3. Click the See All link.
4. Check the checkbox next to the conversations that you want to leave.
5. Click the Leave button that pops up towards the bottom of the page.
6. Click Ok on the confirmation that pops up.

When a user leaves a conversation, a message is shown to other users telling them about the user who has left the conversation.
