How do I pin or un-pin a topic?

Use this feature to pin topics to the top of a category. It's ideal for posting announcements or making sure important discussions stay at the top of the topics listing.

You can pin/un-pin a topic by following the directions below:

1. Log in to your forum account. (Must be a moderator or administrator account.)
2. If your forum has multiple categories, click the Categories link.
3. Click the link for the category the topics are in.
4. Check the checkbox next to each topic you would like to pin or un-pin.
5. Click the icon and select Pin or Un-Pin from the dropdown box located towards the bottom-right of the page. If there is no Pin or Un-Pin option or there are no checkboxes, that means the appropriate permissions are not set for the moderator account.

Note: You can also pin a topic when creating it. If you are logged into your moderator or administrator account when creating the new topic, you will see a Pin this topic option on the page.
