Hiding and unhiding categories

A user can hide categories that they aren't interested in. Hidden categories are not shown on the Categories page or other categories lists. Topics that are within hidden categories are not shown on the global Topics page.

If you'd like to hide a category for all of the users, unlist the category instead.

If you'd like users to not be able to see categories that they don't have permission to, change the visibility of private categories instead.

Hiding a category

1. Log in to your forum account.
2. Go to the Categories page.
3. Click the cross or eye icon next to a category.

Unhiding a category

1. Log in to your forum account.
2. Go to the Categories page.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Modify filter.
4. Deselect the categories you would like to stop hiding or click on Clear Filter to unhide all the categories at once.
5. Click Apply Filter.
