Does changing the cost of Paid Access affect users who already subscribed?

You can edit or change your Paid Access pricing plans any time. However, the users who would have already subscribed to the old pricing structure would still continue to be billed according to your old plan. This happens because their subscription would already be created with PayPal at that rate.

For example, you created a plan for $5 a month for your forum access and 10 users joined your forum with this plan. After a few months, you changed the forum access fee to $10 per month. In this case, the old users who signed up on your forum before you changed the plan would continue to be bill for $5 per month.

If you wish to bill old users with new pricing, then we suggest that you first cancel their paid membership. Then ask the user to subscribe again to your forum with new pricing plan.
