Changing which Gmail category/tab emails appear in

Gmail automatically guesses what category/tab it thinks emails should go in. Users can drag/drop the email into the correct category/tab or add the forum email address to the Gmail address book. Those actions will help train Gmail for the user's email account and also all email accounts automatically over time so that emails begin to be categorized correctly.

Setting up your Send Returned Email To email address may also help keep the email out of the Promotions tab.

Users can also create a filter in Gmail to set the category of new email.
