Approving and declining members
You can approve or decline pending members in your forum by following the directions below:
- Log in to your forum account. (Must be assigned as an administrator.)
- On mobile devices and in some themes, click the (main menu) icon located towards the top left corner of the page. Skip this step if you don't see the icon.
- Click the Categories link.
- Click the icon located towards the top-right of the page.
- Click the Approve/Decline icon next to username of the pending members.
You can approve or decline pending forum members through the Website Toolbox admin area by following these instructions:
- Log in to your Website Toolbox account.
- Click the Users link in the main menu.
- Next to the Pending Approval user group, click the Manage link. (If there is no Pending Approval user group, the Approve Users option has not been enabled.)
- In the Manage menu, click Users.
- Check the check box next to the users you want to approve or decline.
- In the floating drop down that appears on the bottom-left corner, select Approve or Decline.
You can also be sent an email notification when a new signup occurs in your forum.
