Approving and declining members

You can approve or decline pending members in your forum by following the directions below:

  1. Log in to your forum account. (Must be assigned as an administrator.)
  2. On mobile devices and in some themes, click the (main menu) icon located towards the top left corner of the page. Skip this step if you don't see the icon.
  3. Click the Categories link.
  4. Click the icon located towards the top-right of the page.
  5. Click the Approve/Decline icon next to username of the pending members.

You can approve or decline pending forum members through the Website Toolbox admin area by following these instructions:

  1. Log in to your Website Toolbox account.
  2. Click the Users link in the main menu.
  3. Next to the Pending Approval user group, click the Manage link. (If there is no Pending Approval user group, the Approve Users option has not been enabled.)
  4. In the Manage menu, click Users.
  5. Check the check box next to the users you want to approve or decline.
  6. In the floating drop down that appears on the bottom-left corner, select Approve or Decline.

You can also be sent an email notification when a new signup occurs in your forum.
