Emailing all of your users
You can email all of your forum users, or users of certain user groups.
Only the user's own email address will appear in the To:
field of the email that is sent. All of the other email addresses will not be listed in the CC:
or BCC:
fields for security reasons. For example, sending an email to 300 users will result in a separate email being sent to each of the 300 users rather than a single email with all 300 email address listed in the To:
, CC:
, or BCC:
fields.
If you would like to respond to a single user directly, you should use the email link located in the user's profile. If user accounts are disabled and users don't have profiles, the email link will will be displayed next to their post on your forum.
Please follow the directions mentioned below to send an email to all members of certain user groups in your forum:
- Log in to your Website Toolbox account.
- Click the Users link in the main menu.
- Click the icon.
- Select the desired groups for the Recipients option.
- Type the message under Contents section.
- Send the email.
We don't impose any limits on the number of emails you can send.
To protect your forum’s reputation with email providers and help prevent email from being returned with an error or marked as spam, email isn't sent to certain users.
