Embedding your community

Step 1:

Your community must use a subdomain for it to appear as embedded rather than full-screen in the Safari browser. To set up your subdomain, log in to Website Toolbox, click Settings, and then select Domain.

Step 2:

Connect your domain name to your community by clicking Use Existing Domain and following the on-screen instructions.

Step 3:

Create a new custom page by navigating to the Website option under Channels in the Thinkific admin dashboard. Then, go to the Custom Pages tab and click the NEW CUSTOM PAGE button.

Step 4:

Provide a page name and title, then click CREATE PAGE.

Step 5:

Click the ADD SECTION button and search for the Website Toolbox Community section. Select the section, then click the Save button in the top right corner to save the changes. Alternatively, you can manually copy and paste the embed code onto the page.

Step 6:

Make sure the section has been added. Then, click EDIT HEADER to add a menu link to the community.

Step 7:

Enter Community as the text, select the custom page you created in Step 4 from the available options for the link, and then click Save.

Congratulations! You have successfully embedded the community into your Thinkific website.

You can now visit your Thinkific website to access your community.
