Lets hope it doesn't rain on our parade.  It sprinkled out here today...

I heard the weather report on the radio today.  They said it was going to be in the high 70s to low 80s, partly cloudy for tomorrow.  Perfect temp!  20% chance of rain tonight, but nothing said about tomorrow.  I am not changing anything regarding my plans of what to bring, but if you want to be super-safe:  That funny umbrella hat and a Rain Song guitar might be called for . . . and be prepared for requests for "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head".

Omo Bob, I would love to jam on your arrangement of "When Sunny Gets Blue".

Nick

Hi Steve B!
If it rains, can we have the picnic at your house, since you live the closest to the park? We can even bring some of the ducks to put in your pool to create the same ambiance. Just a thought. B.

Thanks Steve B. for bringing me the coffee! Please try to choose photos in which none of us have a ridiculous expression.
Thanks Bob H. for making the CDs for us! Hopefully Dan Sindel can include it on the site. (Dan, so glad you decided to come)
Thanks Tom B. for sharing the soon to be released Ted tribute CD.
Thanks EVERYONE for coming and for all the loving vibes. B.

Dan,

I also have photos of the ones who slipped away before the group shot which I will be posting as soon as I get names and info correct.  That was fun!  Mr. Brodie, I did enjoy the BBQ chicken wings, a little messy for guitar playing, although Steven Stills says BBQ sauce HELPS with his bass playing.  Huh!  What was that guitar 'goo' players used to put on their fretboards?  Finger-Ease?  I missed seeing Mark Thornbury and Bob Rissman again, plus I wanted to meet Mark Levy.  Maybe next time!

Are we going to have another one before the end of summer?  If so, I will need to work on more TV show songs, and my single note playing a little too.

Hey,  maybe we could package the barbecue sauce at guitar center,  to help with the real hot and fast licks

I don't know… maybe, if everyone wants to do it. Barbie's thinking about gettin' together around holiday time since Ted often did  Xmas music workshops. It would be indoors, of course. Your TV show songs are really cool.

Here are two more photos of picnic attendees that had to leave before the group photo was taken.

Doc Dosco superbly playing that Korean made Peerless archtop he brought to share with us.  Dan Sindel is holding the 335 style Peerless guitar that Doc brought, in the group photo posted above.

Tom Bocci is holding the digipak for the new Ted Greene tribute CD "Ted Greene Remembered" featuring many of Ted's talented friends.  The art work, the recording quality, the musicianship, and the songs are all top-notch.  Tom, I took the liberty of printing your website address across your nice Hawaiian shirt.  Folks, the site is not yet up and running, but keep trying it every so often.  It will be worth the effort.

It was nice seeing some old friends and making the acquaintance of new ones (you know who you are).

That group photo is amazing, the collective years of musical experience and talent is stunning... what was I doing there.. LOL

Here they are  Sorry, I think I shrunk them too much and there already off my camera.

I resized them, and re-found no 2 and 8 somewhere else on my PC, and they look the best.  The others lost something in the resizing process.
