Hi Barbara,  Thanks for these treasures...I remember Ted's love for animals, and kitties in particular.  Leo and Zoro were always nearby at our lessons!  Please post as much as you feel comfortable with!

Here are a few more of my favorite photos:
1. Ted & puzzle. Ted & I loved to do jigsaw puzzles (he said it helped organize his mind) Concurrent with the puzzle we'd usually listen to one of the classical music radio stations & play a game we called "guess the composer".
2. Ted would sometimes fall asleep while playing. At times I would be reading or ? and listening when all of a sudden I noticed "something" sounded odd. I'd look over and Ted was actually playing IN HIS SLEEP. This would last a minute or so, then he'd just lapse into full sleep as in the photo.
3. Tele Day - one of many glorious "theme days". He would play and compare them all. .....and I had the sole honor of being his "audience".

1. Ted replacing the knobs on "Bernice". Every so often we'd change knobs, pick guards, etc. for variety. Sort of like playing dress-up with dolls. "Oh, let's see how Bernice would look with clear knobs!"
2. A close up of Ted's vast array of choices.
3. Ted washing his beloved Betsy ('72 Plymouth). He was usually soaked from the knees down when he was through, of course that meant his shoes too!

All these photos are great, Barbara; thank you for sharing them.  Being the "father" of seven cats, I particularly like the ones with Ted and his feline friends.

It's not easy being green! Thanks barbi. These are so much fun. Most of us would love to have a "sunburst day". Some of the photos remind me of how much time Ted spent on the floor. He didn't seem to prefer sitting on a chair.

Seeing the jigsaw puzzle prompts me to ask… did you two also like to do crossword puzzles?

Hi Dan:

In the picture of Ted and Puddy above, there's a crossword puzzle on the coffee table.  I'll bet it wasn't Puddy who was working on it!

1. Ted at Spazio's. At the far left you can also see Lee Ving singing. During the last few gigs there he would invite Lee (his student) to sing two or three ballads at the end of his set. Sounded wonderful! Hello Lee! where ever you are. B.
2. Playing a game with Quincy
3. Enjoying the outdoors & serenading the birds, squirrels & me.
4. Relaxing & organizing musical thoughts.

Hi Barbara,

Love the pics.... I especially like the the one with Quincy, Ted literally letting the cat out of the bag. It's a game he liked to play with his students too.

Halloween 2004 Me, Lori (one of our best friends) & Ted - wearing wax lips - which didn't taste as good as we remembered. Happy Halloween from Quincy & Pumpkin
