Great website ! I love the simple tube projects. I remember building and operating my 6L6 40M TX with a BC-779 RX. Great fun back in the day.
I'll be reading about more of your projects.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful builds !

Which page are you viewing? L-match ATU

Comments:
G'day and greetings to all from ZL country New Zealand .I use mag-loops most of the time and they dont need a tuner but for winter I decided to use an Off centre fed dipole which requires a high/low impedance tuner.
Thanks for sharing info on the L-match. I built a T match years ago but was unaware that it was less efficient than an L match[confused]. Had I known this I would have built the L match instead. Anyway here I am now learning a valuable lesson and I am re configuring my T-match into an L match. I am just struggling with how to add a bypass switch. The T match has a bypass switch and I want to use it again for the L-match. Do you have an idea of where and how it would fit in your circuit, and and I could implement your idea into mine.?
Im on qrz.com for my magloops views. cheers ZL4MBW

Great article to refresh my memory of this xmtr. I built one from the ARRL '62 handbook in 1967 in Junior High shop class while I was earning my licence. I saved it all these years and it's intact in its original form. I'll get started soon. Thanks, 73s. Bruce WA6CAB

I spend a little time looking at circuits in Pinterest almost every day sometimes to my wife's dismay as I get side tracked back to the good old days remembering my grandfather and uncle teaching me all about building radios and so much more.

Time waits for no man however so I often have to tear myself away so as to get some present day work done before I get in real trouble with She who must be obeyed and regarded.

Anything technical, I just love it, keep up the wonderful work of reminding people of how much fun simple electronics could be.[smile]

Just did a fast look but really enjoyed the website.  Didn't see any how to join information, if I missed it please let me know.  I live about a 100 miles from Waco so may not qualify?

Loved the recycled electrons comment!

All the best.
