Comments: When we moved to the area in the middle of summer I knew that we needed find a place for our youngest daughter to prepare for public school. I was so happy that Highlands had a spot open and we enrolled her immediately. I could not have picked a better place for our daughter. The teachers and staff are the best bar none. Her teacher assisted us in getting her services she needs to help her develop the tools she needs to succeed through her time in school. All of the teachers are amazing. All you have to do is spend some time watching them with their students. They treat the children as their own and learn all of the things that make the kids happy, the things they hold dear, and how to brighten each child's day. I couldn't be happier with our time at Highlands. Between all of the benefits my daughter has received as a student and the volunteer board and staff showed me as a volunteer board member, Highlands has made this last year one to remember for a lifetime. Keep doing what you're doing Highlands! You're doing wonderfully!
Comments: Excellent choice for preschool. Ours oldest son attended from 2.5 to 5 yrs . He loves it, the teachers, the atmosphere , the community the feeling in the classroom, the outdoor activities ,.... on top of the academics and learning . We couldn't be happier with the teachers and staffs at Highlands Preschool. They truly care about each of the kids , their learning and their well-being. I recommend it to everyone i talk to.
Comments: this was my first time sending my kid to preschool,and i m so glad that i chose HPS.everything is just great.from teachers to environment friendliness cooperative u name it and they have it, i had only one concern being a muslim that my kid dont have to face any discrimination and believe me we never did i m so grateful to mrs gallagher and all the staff for doing such a good job we r going to miss hps alot, i will definitely enroll my daughter for the next years class thank you ainy
Comments: Wrapping up our 8th consecutive year hear at HPS! Can't believe we are done here, it's very bittersweet! Our 3 kids have all had such a wonderful experience here! The teachers are all so great! The friendships made will be everlasting!  Can't say enough to express my gratitude and the feelings we have about Highlands Preschool and our time here!
Comments: This year marked our second year! I love this little school and there just isn't enough kind words to describe the teachers of Highlands. Johnpaul my oldest still talks about Highlands and is excited when we pull up into the parking lot haha Nathaniel just completed his 3's year and is excited to return next year for his 4's and to show his little brother Christian the ropes! It official the Whaley brothers have invaded Highlands!! ;o) I highly recommend Highlands preschool and have happily shared it with all those with small children.
Comments: We just had our first parent/teacher conference with our son’s kindergarten teacher at Renton Christian School and she had some very insightful feedback. The most notable was that our son Miles had entered kindergarten with a very strong foundation of understanding of not only his numbers and letters but also of phonetics. His new teacher was highly complementary of the preschool that he had previously attended and said that clearly he had been given a very good start in education---thank you Mrs. Mac & Mrs. Rose!!! We are very grateful to the teachers at Highlands for their wonderful balance of a loving and nurturing environment coupled with a strong commitment to excellence in learning. Thank You!!! Comments: We love Highlands Preschool. My son has spent to great years here and my daughter will be joining him next year. ALL the teachers and staff are great. I love that they have an early 3's class it has been great for our family.
Comments: We are new to the learning system here, hence was a very apprehensive mother as to how she will be treated and how she will perform. But to my surprise the Staffs here at HIGHLANDS PRESCHOOL were extremely friendly and polite that my daughter loved being here everyday, so much so she actually hates 'no school days'. The teachers have tapped her creative side and I can see the outcome. Thanks to the Staff for making HIGHLANDS PRESCHOOL a safe, fun-learning, and a creative environment for the kids.

The teachers are loving and caring and the overall atmosphere is terrific. She felt safe and loved everyday--I couldn't have asked for more. Although my daughter is off to Kindergarten in the fall, I am hoping to be back in a year when my son will be ready. I know that I will not have to look anywhere else. Highlands Preschool is a wonderful place for a child's first learning experience.

Aurora said "You will make lots of new friends. All the teachers are very nice and talk to you when you're sad. I loved going everyday." We are sad to be leaving.

I have wonderful memories of those days which is why I chose to send all 3 of my boys there. They love attending and I like the flexibility of the schedule (2 day, 3 days, 5 days, am or pm). I think the teachers are all top notch. The lack of turnover in their positions says a lot. I know I don't need to worry about my boys during the hours they attend school there. I trust them completely.

We miss Highlands and their thorough curriculum, great family atmosphere and amazing little people (and their parents).

We couldn't be happier with the dedication of the staff and the welcoming nature of the other parents. It'll be bittersweet for our oldest to graduate this spring and move on to Kindergarten! But at least we'll have a couple more years that our little guy will be a Highlands preschooler!

She has learned so much and is very proud of what she has accomplished. She enjoys going to school to see her friends and favorite teacher, Mrs. Mac. Highlands pre-school is exactly what I remember school being-- a loving, nuturing, and caring environment. I would recommend it to anyone and have to all my friends.

This was my daughter's first year of pre-school and she learned so much and truly enjoyed her first experience with school. I loved all of the hands-on activities that really stirred my daughter's creativity. Currently her class is working on a dinosaur unit, and to my surprise, she can already name several dinosaurs by sight. Thank-you Highlands Preschool! |
